まず最初に思ったことは、主演俳優さんの美しさ。女性が演じているかと思うぐらいの美男。映画初出演にして初主演、堂々としたる風格。バレエは自らやり、オーディションでは抜き出ていたとか。
内容はごく単純で、性について悩む一人を描いた作品。与えられた性に抗い、もがき、苦しむ。ラストは衝撃的なシーンで、言葉では言い表せない。最後、堂々と歩いている姿に、なりたかった自分になれたのだと思った。
辛くとも懸命に進む姿に感動した。
