生活とは圧倒的に無縁であろうとする男の欲望と一体化したかのような身体に、愛などというものが宿るはずがないー
が、しかしー徹底的に社会のシステムから自分を分離させていく、その先には待っているのは、皮肉にも普通の生活への憧れであり、それはひとつの悲劇とも言えるが、それを"明るいニュース"と解き放ってしまう作家の強さと諧謔っぷりが光っていた。
篠原悠伸という役者の重力を失ったような何をしでかすかわからないフラットで動的な立ち振る舞いが不気味で、かつ、次のカットを全く想像させなかった。
There is no way that love can reside in a body that seems to be one with the desires of a man who wants to be completely unrelated to life --
But -- what awaits him after thoroughly isolating himself from the social system is, ironically, a longing for a normal life, which could be considered a tragedy, but the strength and humor of the filmmaker who dismisses it as "good news" shines through.
The actor Shinohara Yushin's weightless, flat and dynamic behavior, which makes it hard to predict what he'll do, is eerie, and leaves you wondering what the next cut will be.
