ナースステーションという閉鎖的な場所に、
人間の「死」という極めて人間にとって重要な出来事が起こる。
つまり、内側の人間にとって「死」は日常であり、その瞬間に肌感覚で立ち向かっているナースたちは、生々しくも人の本質に触れていく。
そして、「死」が日常ではない外側の人間と内側の人間を繋ぐというナースの"業務"から生まれる葛藤に真正面から向き合った作品。強いなと思った。
In the enclosed space of a nurse's station,
an extremely important event for humans - death - occurs.
In other words, for the people on the inside, death is a part of everyday life, and the nurses, who confront that moment firsthand, come into contact with the true essence of humanity in a vivid way.
The film tackles head-on the conflict that arises from the nurses' "job" of connecting people on the inside with people on the outside, where death is not a part of everyday life. I thought it was powerful.
